WASHINGTON Donald Trump delivered for religious conservatives, big time, and he can count on evangelical support if he tries for a comeback, said First Baptist Dallas senior pastor Robert Jeffress, whose huge flock will worship Sunday with the ex-president.
If he does run, he will have a large group of conservative Christians who remember the promises he kept, and also are very distraught over what they see in Washington, D.C., right now, said Jeffress. The Biden administration is the ungodliest administration in the history of our country.
Trump will appear Sunday afternoon at the American Airlines Center as part of a joint speaking tour with former Fox News host Bill OReilly.
Jeffress, one of Trumps most prominent Christian advisers and boosters, was a frequent visitor to the White House during his presidency. He was at Trumps side for the opening of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, celebrating a president who stands on the right side of you, O God, when it comes to Israel.

(2,503 posts)Didn't they say the same thing about the Obama administration before Biden and the Clinton administration before Obama? And yet wasn't the trump administration averaging a scandal or two a week? To quote Inigo Montoya from the movie The Princess Bride, you keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

(16,928 posts)Let's see - how many times in his whole 4-year term did IQ45 go to church?
We see Joe Biden stopping for coffee on his way home from church on Sundays.
We saw pictures of IQ45 golfing at one of his own golf courses - on Sundays.
MY GAWD, what f-ing hypocrites!

(6,075 posts)I thought that perhaps self-preservation, if nothing else, would motivate Jeffress to back off his deep-throated....errr....full-throated support of TFG.
Nope.
