PLANO, TexasInside the unassuming ranch-style house, investigators discovered things like an x-ray machine, grinders, syringes, surgical instruments and anesthetics.
Police say the homeowner, 63-year-old Jose Santiago Delao, had been running an underground dental clinic in the aging suburban Dallas neighborhood for years: pulling teeth and filling cavities, among other procedures.
As shocking as this sounds, Delao's case is not that unusual. And it offers insight into a world of backyard dentistry that caters to those in the country illegally, the uninsured and others who cant find affordable dental care.
Delao admits he skirted the law, but isnt remorseful. Jesus Christ didnt need or didnt have a license, Jose Delao told Yahoo News during a jailhouse interview. People hurt and they needed it. People didnt have enough money to visit the regular dentist.

Good tip by the way: the 100 proof Southern Comfort does a decent job killing pain -- it has to be the 100 proof though. It's expensive obviously, something like twenty bucks a bottle, but it might help you.

A couple of years back I had a boat load of dental work done at the UT San Antonio dental school. The only costs you pay are for materials used. It will also take longer to have the work completed because you are being worked on by graduate students, but the work they do is superb. They are monitored every step of the way by their professors.
And everyone that has worked on me has been extremely pleasant.
It was a great experience and they use all the latest tech to the pain level was virtually zero.
