Second suspect charged in Lone Star college shooting

A second suspect has been charged in Tuesday's shooting at Lone Star College, an incident that apparently started when the gunman was bumped into by another person.

Trey Foster, 22, who was charged with aggravated assault Thursday morning, appears to have been the actual shooter not his friend, Carlton Berry, who was already charged in the shooting, according to court records.

Berry, 22, initially denied knowing anything about the shooting that erupted at the northwest Houston campus just after noon Tuesday. But Berry later told investigators that a student had "bumped" into Foster earlier in the day, and it had escalated into an argument.

Berry told authorities that Foster said he was going to fight the man if he saw him again. When he saw the man again, another argument broke out and Foster began shooting, according to court records.

I, too, would fight over minor affronts , like someone bumping into me or someone stepping on my brand new Adidases. At the time, the idea of pulling a gun or knife, never occurred to me. In fact, anyone that pulled a weapon in a fight was considered a "punk" ... "Why can't you knuckle up like a man!"

Then, I grew up and wondered WTH was I thinking?
