San Antonio Express-News RW Total NUT Letter to the Editor

Can you believe this? I guess this is how the Tea Party thinks? I've seen lots of RW letters to the editor, but never anything like this. Are other mainstream newspapers publishing any letters like this?

Ruin

With the win by President Barack Obama, our nation has possibly seen its last chance to right itself from financial and moral ruin.

Our forefathers intended for only property owners and taxpayers to cast a ballot.

Look what has happened because of the largess given by the hand of Uncle Sugar.

Check out the national election map when all is said and done.

One will find a vast majority of the counties voted for the Republicans and Romney.

Why is that you say?

Where are most of the taxpayers and property owners? More and more of our voters don't have “a dog in the hunt,” so they continue to support programs that help them with no concern as to where the “stuff” comes from or who pays the bill.

I smell smoke.

Is Rome burning?

Couldn't believe what I was reading. In a major newspaper of a city that is 60% Hispanic.

Let them expose who they really are.

"Our forefathers intended for only property owners and taxpayers to cast a ballot."

Really? You want to go back to that do you? Racism is breaking down exposing the underlying classism beneath it. The battle is far from over but they are going to do their best to "rebrand" it and convince you the players are different.

I own property, pay lot's of taxes, and live in the very blue county of Dallas. I voted for Obama. I did not vote for the unopposed RW congressman from rural red east Texas. It's gerrymandering. I know who's paying the bill. It's me and others just like me, and we're not getting what we pay for. Dennis F Brown needs to crawl back under his rock. He's an idiot.

that gets run in my local rag. Wish Anonymous would do something useful & go after the Council of Bishops for sending out the "Vote Republican or go to Hell" emails.
