Texas A&M issues Code Maroon for man with a gun

Texas A&M issued a Code Maroon warning Thursday afternoon after a man was spotted with a gun near the University Center Garage.

The warning was issued at 4:36. The man was described as white, in his late 40s with light hair. He was wearing a lime green short-sleeve shirt and jeans.

People in the area were urged to find a safe place inside until further notice.

I've got a 1st grader in after school care that ends at 6. I hope they don't hold it against me if I'm late picking him up.

I am sad for you sadbear. Please be alert and take care of yourself. Hopefully, the after school care center will realize the unusual situation was beyond your control.

Please let us know when you are safe.

They let us go at 5:30 even though they hadn't apprehended anyone. I haven't heard of any other developments.
