1. People choose the oddest things to complain about.

He's out there trying to flip the Texas House and get Democrats elected at all levels of government and people fixate on...his beard.

Granted, it might just be a few people, but still....

4. I'm glad that Beto is campaigning for Eliz, but I disagree on the beard.

I have a few friends with beards that I consider as an improvement on their looks because of the bone structure of their jawlines. I've also admired some people in the store with nice beards at the store. However, I estimate that I dislike about 75% of the beards that I see.

I choose not to have a beard since my facial hair is patchy and I tend to break out when I let my whiskers grow. I also have light brown hair, but my beard is a mixture of black and white hair. I'd look like a mangy mongrel mutt, so I'll pass on growing a beard.
