Bryan woman charged in connection to Texas State bomb threat (may also be involved with Texas A&M)

A 19-year-old Bryan woman has been arrested in connection with a bomb threat made last week at Texas State and is under investigation for a similar threat at Texas A&M.

Both prompted officials to evacuate the universities.

Charges were filed Tuesday in San Marcos against Brittany Nicole Henderson - three counts of making a terroristic threat, a third-degree felony, and three counts of making a false alarm, which is a misdemeanor.

The hoax was part of the woman’s plan to prevent “someone close to her” from getting a job or interviewing for a position at both Texas college campuses, according to two sources familiar with the investigation who spoke to The Eagle, asking that their names not be published.
