I really need to get a hurricane kit together. At least we tested the generator a week ago and it's working fine.

to what can be eaten within a week so I don't have to throw away food if we get hit this year.

I wish I had a solar generator. You can roll those babies right into the house after they charge re: no emissions. We'll have to stick to batteries again this year, dammit.

Maybe it will steer north once on land, but I have a feeling it's going to skip across Mexico and become an eastern Pacific hurricane.

I guess I've just been a little bummed about the season starting up. It's hard enough to get by without adding a hurricane into the equation
