Something To Remember About Ted Cruz's Dad

Something to remember against Ted Cruz's dad: he is supposed to have fought against Cuba's Batista dictatorship.

I wonder if this is a point we can work with. Cuba's Fulgencio Batista was a dictator who overthrew the island's democratic government and instituted a rule noted for brutality and corruption. As we look around the sort of Texas Rick Perry and friends have wrought, we see an increasingly corrupt political system (witness pay-to-play linkages between campaign contributions and legislation) that is unresponsive to the needs of the majority of Texans: white, black, brown, Asian, etc.

Sorry, guys, but I don't see Papa Cruz's idealism in his Tea Party offspring.
