Hilarious sign mocking Austin's confusing roads welcomes SXSW visitors, goes viral

As throngs of visitors descend upon Austin for South by Southwest, locals are offering tips on how to avoid traffic tie-ups, including one local business that revealed the irony behind some of the city's highway names.

Earlier this week, Imperial Traffic Solutions offered a few lighthearted pearls of wisdom for people entering Texas' capital via Highway 71 from the airport.

Petty, who has lived in Austin for almost 20 years, launched Imperial Traffic about six months ago. The company provides barricades and traffic signs and helps the city coordinate road closures.
