San Antonio Express News: Clinton the logical choice for president

Believe it or not, there are issues in this presidential campaign beyond Donald Trump, though he isn’t an insignificant one.

It’s not that the building blocks of character — honesty, empathy, tolerance, temperament and steadiness — aren’t important in a presidential campaign. But there is also the capacity of the candidates to grasp the issues and to present cogent policy prescriptions.

And in this regard, one of the candidates is head and shoulders better.

The San Antonio Express-News Editorial Board recommends Hillary Clinton for president.
