Naked man arrested at Dallas park after back-flip off squad car, beating officer badly, police say

A naked Dallas man put up quite a fight before being arrested this week, back-flipping off a squad car and beating an officer bloody, police said.

Darius Hampton, 23, remained jailed Saturday on two counts of aggravated assault on a public servant.

On Thursday afternoon, police found Hampton standing nude on a median along Ledbetter Drive after someone reported a ruckus at Glendale Park in southeast Oak Cliff.

Two officers escorted him to a squad car, each holding one of his arms. He seemed subdued, police said, but then lashed out without warning.
