Vet who killed cat with arrow should have license suspended, judges say

Tiger - RIP

The Brenham veterinarian who fatally shot a cat in the head with an arrow could have her license suspended for five years.

The two administrative law judges recommended last week that the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners suspend Kristen Lindsey's license for five years and that she be allowed to practice on probationary basis after a year of full suspension, according to court documents.

The recommendation also included continuing education courses and community service hours at a feline rescue or spay/neuter clinic, or similar facility, the documents state.

Lindsey has appealed the ruling, KAGS-TV reported.
