They never get used to it and the treatment. It made me a loner so I never have anyone, and I guess it is the best. I would hate to think of have a fantastic life going on and then getting slapped beside the head of staying in bed in the feotal position and not knowing what is happening. Me I just call my doc and tell her I have to up the dosage for a bit and she understands that its hitting me hard.

In 60 years you learn how you body does things. And the drugs are great. Did not have any when I was young.

I feel for her because it is hard to think and do things when it starts hitting you hard.

But it can get better and usually does.

for Ms. Hawk and wish her the best. However, her behavior has been erratic and if this episode is as bad as her previous episode then it is not fair to her colleagues, the taxpayers or herself to remain in her post as DA. At this point the public doesn't know the extent of her illness, but it does sound serious if she has been unable to attend work for the last few weeks as is mentioned in the article.

Going back to last July it would mean that she has missed work about four months out of the last twelve. It also does not help that she originally tried cover up an apparent addiction to pain medication prior to her election as DA or her termination of many employees during the first year while she was in office. It was only a few months that a lawsuit to remove her from office that was filed by one of her subordinates was dismissed by an outside judge.

I posted numerous stories in the Texas Group last year so if you want to read additional information search using word "Hawk" and my username as the author.

Good luck with the tough times that you face also and please contact me if you need a friend.
