Dr. Donald R. May, alleged sexual harasser
Donald May filed Monday a defamation suit against a Texas Tech law student after a judge denied his petition for a pre-suit deposition.
May, who writes a conservative blog for Lubbockonline.com, seeks damages between $200,000 and $1 million against Kristen Vander-Plas, whom he accused of making false accusations of sexual harassment to get him banned from the Tech law school.
Mays attorney Fernando Bustos said the lawsuit is the next best alternative to get justice for his client after a visiting judge denied his request for a pre-suit deposition.
Its the only way that we can try to get justice for whats been done against him and get to the bottom of exactly whats she has told to Texas Tech and others that has led him to be banned from the Texas Tech law school campus, Bustos said.

Yes....... new
When one 'faire du nombrilisme', one can expect results like this to happen.
Now, it is the young lady's turn at the legal bat for all of the unnecessary publicity generated by May.......

I hear..... new
Appartently Judge Woodward must be a liberal of the worst sort.
This ruling just has to be another "Communist plot", like the one May encountered at Texas Tech years ago.......

Give it a break..... new
We have a former governor who has been indicted on two felony counts.
Our current Texas AG has been indicted on three felony counts.
Any scandal is good scandal when it comes to politics.
May is small potatoes in politics by comparison. His blogs(not columns) show readers just how wacky some conservatives are, in addition to providing daily humor to those who read them.
In local news from the Cap Rock, who could ask for anything more, unless you are interested in investing in Puerto Rico.........

If he becomes a registered SEX OFFENDER would the Republican Party want its newspaper to identify with him ?
Why is Donald involved in this scandal ? What is he afraid will be revealed. Will his marriage last, or could this just be the tip of his indiscretions ? Why would Tech not want him on their campus ? Is he dangerous , does he prey on other women ?
Finally, what else is he hiding ?
One can not seek forgiveness for actions they do not first acknowledge !

From the updated story...... new
The A-J reports: "Mays lawsuit cites a news release Glasheen provided to media outlets including A-J Media accusing May of sexually assaulting Vander-Plas on at least two occasions."
But, this occurred AFTER May "filed a request in the 99th District Court to elicit testimony from Vander-Plas and Tech officials to find out exactly what she told them." May opened the can of worms when he filed that request, which elicited THE response from Vander-Plas' attorney.
But, APPARENTLY May is willing to bet the farm on this lawsuit, which he will surely lose. And there is always the possibility of a counter-suit by Vander-Plas......

Just go ahead and get a good lawyer.
The track record speaks for itself. His next move will be his "Jesus Card". But.................."it will be measured to you" ... God will not be mocked
Do Not Judge "For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye?
