Brady police officer indicted on sexual assault charge
SAN ANGELO, Texas - A Brady police officer was arrested Monday in a Texas Ranger investigation and indicted in McCulloch County in an alleged sexual assault of a child.
Felix Sanchez-Savaria, 23, of Brady, is facing three counts of the second-degree felony and Monday night remained in the McCulloch County Jail.
"The mood around here today is not upbeat," said Chief Deputy Todd Tully of the McCulloch County Sheriff's Department.
Tully said in 15 years in McCulloch County law enforcement he had not seen a crime of this nature by a fellow officer.
