Ex says Huntington man shot up her name-brand clothes
ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -
Deputies with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office have arrested a Huntington man whose ex-girlfriend accuses of shooting her clothes because he was upset about their break-up.
Tanner Anson Richardson, 19, is charged with state-jail felony criminal mischief.
According to an arrest affidavit, a woman told a deputy she had broken up with her boyfriend after two years of dating due to "lack of trust and love between the two parties." She said he had sent text and social media messages and made numerous phone calls, saying he wanted to talk, but she declined.
She said Richardson sent more texts, saying if she did not come to talk, then he would burn her clothing. She said he sent her pictures of her clothing in trash bags outside his home. She said at one point he said "bring marshmallows" and "you will need to buy new clothing."
