Open Carry Texas now has a new leader because its founder and president, Christopher C.J. Grisham, recently stepped down to pursue a possible bid for Texas Senate District 24, according to a press release.
Founded as a grassroots organization advocating gun rights in Texas, Open Carry Texas now will be led by its vice president, David Amad from Houston.
State Sen. Troy Fraser, R-Horseshoe Bay, is retiring after holding the District 24 seat for more than 27 years.

Grishams decision was reached after prayer and deliberation, he said Monday.

Now the big rocks are tumbling down on top of us and the inmates are in charge of the asylum. (yeah, I know, mixed metaphors but its early in the morning)
