City of Weatherford Insists Brown Water Safe to Drink

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/City-of-Weatherford-Insists-Brown-Water-Safe-to-Drink-311924681.html?_osource=SocialFlowFB_DFWBrand

The water flowing from Vernon's faucet looks clear, but a bathtub full of the water has a noticeable golden brown tint.

========================

The City of Weatherford would like you to know that the water is not brown at all ...

it's more of a translucent amber ...

a pail of ail

I've got a picture of my young daughter in a bath from that time. The water is quite brown. People who saw it said things like "Oh, she must have been quite dirty." Em, no, she was not really dirty at all.

Adelaide was one of a few cities around the world where visiting ships would not take on water.
