4. I watched it on radar as it was building and thought that the worst of it was going to miss where

I'm located. Fortunately I retrieved all of the laundry from the laundry room right as the first few big drops started falling. Had to issue an "All Cats Bulletin -- Find Immediate Shelter -- No Dogs Allowed" notice so that the furballs would remain dry.
