18 year-old man tells agents he posed as girl on Facebook to get photos of naked boys
MISSION, TEXAS — An 18-year-old man used Facebook to pose as an underage girl to trick a boy into sending him nude photographs, federal agents wrote in a criminal complaint filed Friday.
Homeland Security Investigations agents raided the home of Carlo Alberto Solis on Thursday. He told agents that in 2013 he made a fake Facebook profile under the name "Sandy Fernandez" used to entice boys into sharing sexually suggestive photos with him via instant message, the complaint states.
Records show Solis' residence is in the 10700 block of North Minnesota Road in rural western Hidalgo County.
One of the boys, a 13 year old, sent him naked photos last fall, Solis told agents. He said he received naked photos from other boys younger than 18 using the fake profile and that "he wanted the images for his sexual gratification," the complaint states.
