Conoco-Phillips plans new plant in Baytown
HOUSTON—Conoco-Phillips has announced plans for a big new plant in Baytown.
It would be part of the existing Cedar Bayou Chemical Complex located off of Interstate 10.
It would also be the world’s largest capacity plant for a key component of plastic resin.
The project will create about 500 construction jobs and 14 long-term jobs.
