I know that it's early, that it's a primary and that only one nominee might be running for a specific office, but we do need a large turnout in the Democratic primary. It is important to impress the national party by showing that Texas Democrats nominate viable candidates and show up to vote. Putting up large vote totals during the primary will also attract campaign funds for those candidates by out-of-state contributors and the national party, so GOTV!

(2,674 posts)I will be voting this week, probably tomorrow. The locals and the Judge elections are important for the Democrats, so don't ignore the primaries. Let's show the world that Texas Democrats care about the elections.

(1,918 posts)More than me this week. One machine broke, two parts failed and an entire run of their samples was prepped wrong.
I'm just glad I was able to avoid any major problems after my fiasco of a Monday.
