The Denton County Republican Party Chair Dianne Edmondson expressed her concern over "the super women ticket of Abortion Barbie with Hispanic Sen Leticia Van De Putte as her running mate." The weekly newsletter sent Tuesday is the last before the party will host a forum Monday with every candidate in the Lt. Governor and Attorney General's race.

Denton County is in north Texas and is in Texas only because Oklahoma doesn’t suck quite enough. It is full of Republican women who are not rich enough or pretty enough to make it in the Dallas social scene but fancy themselves to be Sue Ellen Ewing.

And that’s how Dianne Edmondson came to be the Republican county chair in Denton County.

When Dianne is not busy looking down her nose at you, she sends out emails to the party faithful.
