We just saw that on the news at noon. How frightening and horrible for the injured man and for the people whose homes were damaged.

I think that's one of those big gas lines they're laying all over western PA wherever they're fracking gas wells.

I found this article that has some technical information. I do not know if it is part of Mariner East, though.
DEP said its a looped line with four pipelines running parallel to one another in the right-of-way, adding that its unclear which of the pipelines caused the incident and how badly damaged each one is.
