Paper ballots, Washington County

After voting yesterday, I pick up a voicemail telling me that, because an additional candidate had been added to the senate race, I would be using a paper ballot. Looked it up online and, sure enough, I was supposed to have gotten a paper ballot.

Thing is, I never saw or was offered a paper ballot when I voted.

If I recall, it said that Vodvarka had dropped out! I don't remember if his name was on the electronic ballot. I heard later (local news) that he was still running. Very confusing. Not that he would have received many votes.

We also had a candidate here (Westmoreland Co.) for state house (Mandarino) who had dropped out. There was a little paper notice about him too. We were not handed any other notices about it.
