PennEast pipeline foes pack Lehigh Valley meeting held by feds

Property owners, environmentalists, and municipal officials voiced protests regarding the PennEast pipeline project to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, which has the power to approve or reject the 114-mile PennEast pipeline because it crosses state lines.

"The more-than-three-hour meeting was held to hear comments on the proposed $1 billion pipeline. While a handful of supporters talked about economic benefits the project could bring, nearly all who spoke were against it."

Notice how the Morning Call deliberately doesn't mention that the study touting the economic benefits was bought and paid for by the PennEast company (as reported a day earlier).
