PA Repub Flyer: If Wolf is elected, parts of babies will be shoved down garbage disposals

The ultimate in desperation. The PA. Republican Party has sent out a campaign mailer that somehow tries to link Dem. Gov. candidate Tom Wolf with a doctor who was jailed for running an illegal and unhealthy abortion clinic in Philadelphia.

Of course, the Repubs miss the point. When you make it much more difficult to obtain legal abortions from reputable doctors, dangerous and unhealthy back-alley abortion centers are more likely to arise.

I do hope that it turns more people off than it persuades. The people who will be cheering for Corbett because of this were voting for Corbett anyways.

And I agree with you about back-alley abortions. The GOP does not seem to realize that abortions are going to happen, whether they are legal or not. So we really have to have abortion centers that are safe for the women who have to make this unfortunate decision.
