Not because the registrar changed his mind, but because the gay couple did. I don't blame them. It's hard when there is a significant likelihood of mixing your love commitment with a legal case.

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Two women have been married in a religious ceremony Tuesday near Philadelphia after getting a same-sex license from county officials defying a state ban.

Alicia Terrizzi says she and Loreen Bloodgood didn't set out to be pioneers, but simply want to take advantage of the opportunity offered by Montgomery County officials.


I'm shocked that this has gotten ZERO national attention. This could be the beginning of the end of PA's ban on same sex marriage when this gets appealed.

After all, though Republicans may make up a majority of the Supreme Court, a Republican judge in the state supreme court did rule against the Voter ID law in PA. Not to mention multiple other Republican appointed judges who are generally very conservative and very pro-business in their rulings have also ruled in favor of same sex marriage elsewhere in the US.
