He is only 40 and on his way up. The article doesn't say anything about his qualifications in business or journalism, so it's hard to read any more into it.

I was vague. I was thinking that it seems like when a politician gives some corporation breaks, then becomes a consultant or lobbyist for them.

I was thinking that journalism has gone down in the PG. IMO there's more right wing editorial pieces and more opinion leaking into what should be straight reporting. I was thinking about how much leniency in investigation did the paper give pharmaceutical and medical companies.
