Harrisburg firm seeks compensation for Phyllis Schlafly public relations campaign

Quantum Communications, Ltd., based in Harrisburg, says it is owed money for assisting one of the late Phyllis Schlafly’s conservative organizations, Eagle Forum, in promoting her legacy.

A suit was filed by the firm in September 2017 in U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania alleging breach of contract. The Eagle Forum, and Ed Martin, a Missouri politico, were named in it.

The parties are working toward a settlement and have a conference call scheduled Friday, April 5.

Court documents show that Martin acknowledged the work Quantum Communications completed — including a video documentary — but, he didn’t pay the bill of $130,000. The firm says it was engaged “to protect and enhance Eagle Forum’s reputation.”
