Weis accelerates shipments of items in demand by food stamps recipients

Full Title: Weis accelerates shipments of items in demand by food stamps recipients to accommodate them during shutdown

Weis Market’s is working to help out their customers on food stamps by getting in high demand items in time for the early arrival of their February benefits, the food store company announced Wednesday.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients, all 1.8 million in Pennsylvania included, will begin seeing their February benefits on their electronic benefit transfer card on Friday, available to use on Saturday.

Officials said recipients should be prepared that this could be the last benefit payment if the government shutdown continues.

Haven't seen this story in much of the M$M yet. Cut off of SNAP benefits is going to hurt lots of grocery stores.

What a twist, or equivalent to a DDoS attack complete with a forerunning equivalent to using ransomeware - A wall or else; he and his cabal own this escalation, with malicious intent, certainly qualifies as a high crime and misdemeanor.

I'd bet that lobster tails, steak, and fantastic chocolate cakes aren't on that list. In addition, winter storm--Is it Harper?-- is winding up. Take care of that precious cargo, truckers.
