Anyone tested out CoverOregon?

So.. no online applications at this time. And when I use the "find an agent" function, it says there are none.

Not super impressed with the specific information available on the plans offered, either.

All in all, there is still work to be done here, I think. But I am looking forward to affordable access to health care when they get the kinks straightened out.

It doesn't offer anything better than what I get through work; it does offer the same plan, for the same cost.

2. No subsidy assistance?

One of my problems is recently my income bounces around a lot. In the past three years, I've had income as high as 60k and as low as 11k. So Im not sure what to punch in to the calculator. At the low end, it throws me to OHP, and at the high end provides very little subsidy. In the middle, where i am at the moment(though the year ain't over), I was able to find a plan for 1$ out of pocket a month, but I'm not seeing any details on what that plan actually offers vs the ones that would cost 100-200/month

I don't qualify for a subsidy. I'd be happy with OHP, if I qualified.

Right now I'll be happy to settle for the status quo, knowing that the ACA isn't costing me MORE this year.

Apparently if you want to find an agent, you should not put in your zip code. Haven't tried it yet.

And, by what the email said, online applications are available to agents, just not to individuals. Which seems odd to me.

the system is open to agents right now while they continue working on the glitches - primarily the portion of the online process that determines the adjusted out of pocket costs or subsidies for individuals. the online application program was only getting as far as determining how much a program would cost but has been unable to determine the subsidy portion of the final out of pocket to the applicant. some folks have been able to get through on the coveroregon phone lines.

7. In my area they listed a few "agents and community partners"

but I just downloaded the PDF from the site, printed it and mailed it today. I tried to fill it out online and submit it, but the "submit" button didn't seem to do anything at all. Possibly it worked, in which case they have 20 or 30 copies, but I mailed it to be sure. Looking forward to seeing what options they have for me, but browsing plans online, it looks very promising.
