Who here has purchased legal weed in Oregon?

I have - I have hit several dispensaries and picked up some amazing flower.

Leafly is awesome - it lists many dispensaries menus and prices. Right now the going rate seems to be around 60-70 for 7 grams (that's a quarter once). Northern Lights, Animal Cookies, Mango Haze, XJ13, Grape Ape, Sour Diesel are among the many varieties easily obtained at your local shoppe (I have to spell it that way, sue me).

What are you enjoying? I can't recommend Northern Lights and Animal Cookies enough - Mango Haze is also awesome due to it's really high CBD level of 6.7% (High CBD really take the edge off of the high and makes for a really productive high - Northern Lights and some of the other indicas however will put you indacouch).

Cheers!

Someone said 1 gram costs $20-$30. That seemed high to me.

That may change once taxes hit in the new year but now prices are solid.

And as far as finding a dispensary hit up leafly.com

He was growing something called Blue Dream for a while...

Now its a strain called Girl Scout Cookies, I think because its the same color as their uniforms.

I am really seriously considering a move...

Also readily available throughout the Portland area and Washington sells it in both flower and oil concentrate.

The monster is animal cookie, that stuff is bonafide nutty.

They had some high THC 27% Bubba Dog and right up there was Sweet Dreams. Both are creepers takes a little while but clean enlightening effect. Also use a strain of Afghan Kush that is right up there but yes its a 'I am now one with the couch' kind of stress reducer with good CBD level. I have an MJ card so got some Bubba for $10 and Dreams for $15 a gram. However not sure how much longer the Oregon medical MJ program is going to last.

PS I Blue Dream has been popular here last year got some good clean trips. Got some Girlscout weed a few months ago not bad nice and mellow.

As good as any street price you will find and the quality is superb. I was getting good shit for around 250 an oz but I never knew if I was getting a sativa, indica or hybrid. Street stuff usually means getting what yer buddy can get. Now that it is legal it's just fantastic, the variety and price and ease of purchase trump any discount found on the street.

Mango Haze - Northern Lights - Sour Diesel . I can visualize those aged hippies just grooving in the back saying , "Hey, man. This tastes like mango " And another saying, "What? Can't hear you in all this haze".

Pretty good flower in the $5 range. Currently available at medical dispenaries for med and rec market.

I can currently walk to eight shops from my home in a half hour.

Sadly, the state and cities are starting to design fees and restrictions on the recreational sales that could drive buyers back underground when the mainstream recreational market gets started next year.

Even in Washington the prices are still fair and deals are always available. I can't imagine Oregon doing a worse job, the law is better written.

Way more fun, not currently available in or recreationally (2016) but run over the river to get some interra oil whenever the head needs an adjustment. Get the co2 extractions exclusively, the butane method is awful.

You really should check the flower available in Oregon - even though the THC level is almost always lower than the oil the effect is MUCH better.

After all, el natural is the way nature intended it.

Cheers!

EDIT - cannabis is a complicated plant with a lot more going on than just THC - I've vaped (don't smoke much anymore) strains all over the board and some lower level THC stuff will stop me flat while others are mellower than one might think. It's very subjective - which makes it fun!

the Blackberry Kush has an excellent effect on my symptoms for hard-to-manage days
for standard post-injection pain, Silver Royale is solid (a broad-spectrum hybrid with high CBD)
for recreational purposes, i've had my best luck with Chem Sour and various Diesels

it's all good i guess, but i'd rather have not gotten sick in the first place

3 (almost 4) down 46 left to go. Legalize.

Silver Royale's parent is one of my all time favorites, Northern Lights - it helps me sleep but also helps me clean out the fridge.

Cheers!

I'll have to look into Vaping. I can get a gram here in Medford anywhere from $5 to $20 depending on strain.
