Fallin gets prime speaking slot for Trump's convention; Hamm also will be featured
WASHINGTON _ Gov. Mary Fallin will speak on the final night of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland next week, the same night Donald Trump will accept the presidential nomination, according to a schedule released Thursday.
Fallin's slot is set for July 21.
Fallin, who got some media attention as a possible running mate for Trump, was co-chair of the committee that wrote the Republican platform this week.
Fallin, while serving in the U.S. House, spoke on the final night of the 2008 GOP convention, when Sen. John McCain was nominated.
