Storm Chaser ( Weather Channel) Killed By Wrong-Way Driver In Turnpike Crash

One of the drivers killed in a crash on the Turner Turnpike Saturday afternoon was a storm chaser who worked on the Weather Channel show "Tornado Hunt."
Andy Gabrielson was hit head-on by a driver going the wrong way.

Troopers say that driver had been going the wrong direction on the Creek Turnpike, then got onto the Turner still going the wrong way.

They think alcohol is likely to blame for the crash.

Two other cars were also involved in the collision.

"The other two drivers just kinda involved after the head-on occurred - kinda a side-swiped deal," said Lieutenant Chris Arnall of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers say both those drivers' injuries were minor, but they were taken to the hospital to get checked out.

driving, something humans can actually do something about, rather than wasting gasoline chasing yet more video coverage of yet another natural disaster.

I'm always distressed with hearing of another auto death.

Perhaps TWC can do more good talking about driving sober than just getting another shot of a funnel cloud.

By the way, the video link above had to do with Woodie Guthrie, not this horrible drunk driving accident.

On edit, I guess I had to wait for the second story and re-start it.
