I visited my home in Harnett County recently.

My in-laws, both in their 90's, one in a wheelchair missing a leg to Diabetes, are feeding two momma kitties & 7 kittens. They put a notice on the local radio station hoping someone would pick up the kittens. No luck. I was only there for two weeks, so did not have time to arrange any rescue. All kitties were too youngp to be moved to Utah via air.

Does anyone know a rescue center in or around Harnett County? I would love to have the mother of the older kitties. She is a tuxedo with the most gorgeous green eyes. She is actually rather tame. She let me pick her up & love her. She would purr while I was rubbing her.

Can't figure out how to post a direct picture from imgur. Photobucket tried to extort me, so I am trying this medium. Anyone know how to direct post pics?

The first suggestion is the n0 kill network.org, quite a few organizations on the list. Another suggestion would be to call the "Moore Humane Society", Carthage, NC, "Fayetteville, Animal Protection Society", in Fayetteville NC and/or "Haven Friends for Life", in Raeford NC. the phone numbers are in each listing. There are more listings too. You may to other area rescue groups or shelters, say in, Wake County.

Best wishes to all, including precious Tuxedo Cat, in picture. My pets are all rescues, and and add a wonderful dimension, or is it distraction to daily life.
