Kaine to campaign at UNCA on Wednesday
ASHEVILLE – Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine's next appearance here will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at UNC Asheville, the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign announced Monday.
Kaine will speak at A.C. Reynolds Green, an outdoor space bounded by Carmichael Hill, Carol Belk Theater, Whitesides Hall and the rear of Ramsey Library.
The Clinton campaign announced Saturday that Kaine was coming to Asheville, but did not release specifics of where and when until Monday. Wednesday's forecast calls for a high of 80 degrees and clear skies.
Kaine will speak at a get out the vote rally ahead of the beginning of early voting in North Carolina, which begins Thursday. He also campaigned in Asheville in August.
