Democratic VP candidate Tim Kaine to campaign in Fayetteville on Tuesday
Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine plans to make a campaign stop in Fayetteville on Tuesday, the Hillary Clinton campaign announced today.
The location and time have not been set, the campaign said.
The visit by Kaine, a U.S. senator from Virginia, will come a week after Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump held rallies in Fayetteville and Wilmington. The Clinton and Trump campaigns have been making numerous stops in North Carolina this summer, a sign of our state's swing-state status and its importance in this election.
Kaine plans to visit along with his wife, Anne Holton, to talk about Clinton's 100-day jobs plan to improve the economy, get people employed and get them employed at higher wages, says a press advisory.
