I do so wish they didn't use the picture from the Independent!!!!

if any of you ever watch WRAL, you probably heard of Scott Mason - he does the Tarheel Traveler segments. Well, ol Scott heard about Tomatopalooza - called me today - he wants to talk to "nc tomatoman" - coming over tomorrow to tape a segment. Yikes! Probably will air mid next week. Newspaper and magazine articles are one thing...this is quite another...

On edit - I think Scott told me it would air next Wed or Thurs - they want to get it in prior to the Tomatopalooza event (which they would have covered, but they don't tend to do weekend events!)

Congrats.

Were you over in Carrboro the other week? For family reasons, I did not go over that Saturday.

BTW I now have the music from "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" running through my addled mind. So much for being able to go back to sleep tonight.

on the possibly dangerous post I made about weapon types after the Aurora thing.....thought long and hard before putting my tow in that water!

I have to say I am somewhat shocked and humbled, though!

and JD Special C Tex and Black Krim. Subtle differences in flavor, but they are quite intense/yummy!
