The Moral Monday Movement is coming to Moore County!
The Moore NAACP in conjunction with The People's Assembly of Moore County invites you to experience the Forward Together Movement at Moore County Moral Monday on Monday, September 9, at Downtown Park in Southern Pines.
Special speakers: Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, President of the North Carolina NAACP, and Rev. Curtis Everette Gatewood, HkonJ Coalition Coordinator.
Join movement veterans to learn what regressive changes enacted by the General Assembly and the new Governor mean for the environment, for women's health and how new laws affect access to education, to healthcare, and to the ballot box for middle class, working class and poor people in Moore County.
Find out what you can do to build a better North Carolina for all it's citizens. FORWARD TOGETHER, NOT ONE STEP BACK!
