I just moved to Greensboro and I'm looking for a place to live. Is there anyone in the area on DU who can give me some pointers?

Depends on what you want. Last time I lived in Greensboro I lived near UNCG because the rent was pretty cheap for a house and there generally was something to do at night. It really depends on where you're going to work and what your lifestyle's like. Greensboro's a weird town. I grew up around Guilford college and that's kind of "yuppie-ish" now with friendly shopping center growing to a ridiculous size. I've got friends who have a pretty nice condo near Battleground and another friend who bought a cheap house on the northeast side.
