DC37 endorses Charles Rangel for Congress

A day after President Bill Clinton gave his campaign a boost with a high-profile endorsement, Rep. Charles Rangel is getting a nod of approval from the city’s largest municipal employee union.

DC 37, which has 121,000 members and 50,000 retirees, said Thursday it is backing the veteran lawmaker as he seeks a 23rd term.
