A second top staffer leaves GOP Rep. Michael Grimm's D.C. office

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The legislative director for Rep. Michael Grimm has left the congressman's Washington, D.C., staff to work for another House member.

It is the second time this year that Grimm (R-Staten Island/Brooklyn) has had a top staffer leave his office for another job.

Legislative director Aaron Ringel left Grimm's staff to work in that same capacity for Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.).

Ringel is a graduate of the University of Kansas and has strong family ties to the state.
