Mentally-impaired man wanders off from Manhattan hospital

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A Queens family is searching for their missing loved one, and police have released a photo they hope will lead to the man being found.

Israel Jardinez was last seen Monday at Mount Sinai Hospital. Though he is 24 years old, his sister says he has the mental capacity of a child.

who left the hospital, boarded a bus in his jammies and with no fare, and ended up five miles away at city hall, where he approached a cop and said he didn't know where he was.

A lot of people dropped the ball that day and most of them weren't in the hospital.

I hope they find this kid quickly.
