4 dead after car submerges in Astoria creek

ASTORIA (WABC) -- Four people are dead after being pulled from a car that submerged in Steinway Creek in Astoria just before 11 p.m. Friday.

According to a New York City Police Department statement, a 2009 Honda Accord was being driven west on 19th Avenue when it hit the curb and rolled into the water. The NYPD is continuing to investigate.
