It took me 5 hours to fly from Seattle to Newark today.....

... and 4 hours to get from Newark Airport to my place in the Bronx via public transp. ( including 20 dollar cab ride for the last leg of the trip 'cause the buses in No. Manhattan don't run all nite.)

Granted, it was late on a Saturday nite... but is this the best we can do?

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]If you were among the rich, there would have been a limo waiting to whisk you quickly and in luxury to your destination.

But obviously, as merely one of the 98%, yes, this is the best you get.

I am glad you completed your journey safely, if not comfortably and efficiently.

The drop-off point for their stop in the DFW was in Grand Prairie off of I-20 for several months while they were waiting to get permits in Dallas. There isn't any public transportation options near that destination and I think that it would cost over $20 in cab fare just to get to the nearest bus stop on the south end of Dallas--that stupidity was why I stayed on Greyhound. At least it was only a 3 block walk from the Greyhound station to a major bus transfer point and the light-rail system in downtown Dallas.
