De Blasio Again Challenged By Rivals In Final Televised Democratic Mayoral Debate

By: Grace Rauh

Public Advocate Bill de Blasio came under intense fire from his opponents during the final televised debate between the Democratic candidates for mayor Tuesday night.

De Blasio leads in the polls, and his rivals are clearly desperate to stop his momentum as they get closer to primary day.

They hit him on everything from his changing positions on term limits, his acceptance of campaign contributions from landlords of buildings in poor condition, and his recent calls to end member items in the City Council.

it is over. Liu was really sad because he accused people of trying to set him up. Quinn looked like she knew it was over and wanted to cry.
