NY primary dates

A stalemate over New York's split primary elections spilled into public view Wednesday, with Republicans and Democrats clashing during an hour-long Senate debate.
...
As it stands, New York is set to have three separate primaries this year: April 19 for president, June 28 for congressional offices, and Sept. 13 for state and local races. The split was caused by a 2012 federal court order that set the congressional primary for June to give the state enough time to get ballots to military overseas.

The split state and federal primaries are set to cost counties — who administer elections in New York — at least $25 million, by the l legislature's estimate.

I know I'll be voting on April 19th. I'll mark my calendar for the other 2 dates also. In_The_Wind Mar 2016 #1

The local races are pretty much skip-able. Having been rigged in advance by the machine here.

I'm pretty sure people have to be REGISTERED (as a DEM) BY MARCH 25 to vote on April 19th.
