in NYC on Christmas, and that's ok with me. Why do people think it has to snow? Because of the song White Christmas?
According to the chart in this Wikipedia link, NYC had a 22% chance of snow on Christmas in general.

That's short sleeve weather on Dec 24. I used "Christmas Eve" because it stands out more than 12/24.
